How do I place an order and create an account with the store?

If you are registered with our store, you can order from us online 24 hours a day. You can create your own customer account in the online store in the upper right corner of the menu bar by clicking the "My Account" button. You will then be guided step-by-step through an automatic registration process. Once it is completed, you can immediately place your first order. After registration, you can log in and place an order at any time using your username and password in "My Account".

Faxed and e-mailed orders are processed during regular business hours. We can be reached by phone Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm and from 1:30 pm to 3:30 pm.

I forgot the password to my online account. What do I need to do?

Click "Forgotten Password" in the login area of https://ecobiopack.pl/account.
You will be asked to re-enter your email address. After submitting it, you will receive an email with a link within a few minutes. When you click this link, you can reset your password.

If there are any problems with this automatic process, please call us.
We recommend setting a new password in the "My Account" section after logging in using the password you received from us.

I have not yet received an invoice for my order. What do I need to do?

You will receive an invoice from us via email.

If you did not receive it, perhaps it went to your spam folder. If not, please contact contact@greenbox.bio with your order number and we will send you a new invoice.

Alternatively, you can use our new invoice request button. Enter your order number and email address and you will receive the requested invoice by email as soon as possible.

How do I delete my customer account?

If you are dissatisfied with our services or have suggestions for improvement, please contact us (e-mail: info@ecobiopack.pl or phone +49 (0) 421 / 246 87 87 0).

Otherwise, you can delete your customer account as follows: Log in to your customer account. Click "Personal Profile" in the menu on the left. The option to delete your customer account and personal information is located in the "Access Data" section. A pop-up window will then appear, which you must confirm to complete the deletion process.

Order

Can I still process the order I just placed?

An order that has already been shipped can no longer be changed in the customer account. If you still notice something, please contact our customer service department immediately. If your order has not yet been processed, our colleagues may be able to help you.

Is there a special price for bulk purchases?

If you plan to order larger quantities, please let us know. Send us an email at info@ecobiopack.pl with the items you want and the corresponding quantities. We will then send you a corresponding quotation as soon as possible.

For some items, prices vary depending on the number of pallets.

Can you temporarily store goods for me?

Of course, we understand that storage capacity is often limited. Unfortunately, we cannot temporarily store goods.

How can I repeat the order?

Select the desired order and click the "Change Order" button. If you want to change specific products, you can do it directly in the template.

How can I change my order?

  1. Log in to your account.
  2. Select Re-orders to view the products you have purchased.
  3. Click the plus symbol to add products to the list.
  4. Select Add list to cart. The shopping cart will open automatically.
  5. Check your order and click Order with costs to finalize your purchase.

Are there minimum quantities?

No. You can only order one box from us.

Shipping and delivery

How high are the shipping costs?

We ship via courier or freight forwarder depending on the size of the shipment. Shipping prices plus VAT are based on net order value from Bremen warehouse.

Poland - standard shipping
For orders with a net value of up to PLN 200, we charge a shipping fee of PLN 15 net. From the net order value of 200 PLN we deliver free of charge.

What countries do you deliver to?

In Switzerland, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom and France, we offer our own online stores under the name ecobiopack. An overview of all partners can be found here: ecobiopack.com

From our German store we deliver to the following countries: Germany, Denmark, Austria, Luxembourg, Belgium, Italy, Czech Republic, Slovenia, Slovakia, Poland, Bulgaria, Portugal, Spain, Hungary and Romania.

After what time will I receive my order?

The standard delivery time is 2-3 business days.

How can I track a shipment?

As soon as we ship your package via DHL, you will receive a shipping confirmation with a tracking number via email. You can use this tracking number to track the shipping status of your shipment online on the DHL website.

What happens if I am unable to accept shipment?

If you cannot accept the order, you have the following options:

For courier shipments, you will receive a notification that delivery has been attempted. Another delivery attempt will be made on the next business day. You can also respond to the notification and arrange delivery directly. After three failed delivery attempts, the goods will be returned to us.

For shipping shipments, we will be notified if the goods could not be delivered. We will contact you immediately to arrange a new delivery. You may have to be charged for a second delivery.

Please inform us of any changes in opening hours to guarantee scheduled delivery.

Can I send a package to a drop-off point?

No, we do not deliver to packing stations.

Can I pick up my goods myself?

Personal collection is not possible.

Sample order

Can I get samples before placing an order?

Are you interested in one or more of our products? Haven't bought the products yet and would like to try them out before buying? No problem! Simply and easily use our sample order form!

Whether you're an existing greenbox customer or visiting our online store for the first time, we'll be happy to send you free samples of the products you're interested in to make sure you order the right products when you place your order and don't have to buy the famous "pig in a poke."

Complaint

How can I return the goods?

According to our General Terms and Conditions, items may be returned free of charge if we are responsible for defects. Therefore, please check delivered products immediately upon receipt for completeness, transportation damage and quality.

If there are any shortages or defects, please inform us within 14 days at the latest. We will arrange a later delivery or return and refund accordingly.

If you wish to return the goods for other reasons, such as having placed an incorrect order, please let us know. If we accept the return of goods as a gesture of goodwill, please return them to our warehouse in their original packaging, sealed and with complete contents at your own expense.

We will provide you with a corresponding return receipt, which should be attached to the package. The return delivery note will also include details of the return address.

Note: There is no statutory right of withdrawal in the trade. Please understand that for hygienic reasons, we cannot accept back unit packs that have already been opened. In order to cover the cost of the necessary quality control, if we need to re-carton and re-store goods taken back as a gesture of goodwill, we charge a discount of 10% of the original value of the goods. Parcels sent COD will not be accepted by us.

Consumers have the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period is 14 days from the day on which the user or a third party designated by the user, who is not a carrier, took possession of the goods.

Consequences of withdrawal from the contract

In the event of cancellation of this contract, we will reimburse you for all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (except for additional costs resulting from your selection of a type of delivery other than the cheapest type of standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which we are informed of your decision to withdraw from this contract. We will use the same means of payment you used in the original transaction to make the refund, unless otherwise expressly agreed with you. In no event will you be charged any fees for this return.

We may withhold payment until we receive the goods back or until you provide proof of return, whichever event occurs first.

You must return or hand over the goods to us immediately, and in any case no later than fourteen days from the day you informed us of your withdrawal from this contract. The deadline is met if the goods are sent before the expiration of the fourteen days. You shall bear the direct costs of returning the goods.

We don't want to upset customers, we want to earn their trust. We attach great importance to transparent and open communication regarding our products and the conditions under which they are manufactured. Therefore, we decided to invest money in international certifications to provide official confirmation of the positive properties of our products.

Recycling and disposal

Does used packaging belong to residual waste, or should it be recycled?

Even if it sounds strange at first, our answer is that both are possible.

The use of recycling waste (yellow bag, yellow bin or packaging collection containers) is regulated in Germany by a dual system. Recycling companies collect, sort and material-optimized recycle commercial and disposable packaging.

In reality, however, not everything that is properly disposed of in waste recycling is recycled. In fact, a large amount of recycling waste is compressed into waste pellets that are used as fuel in industry, for example. This means that a large part of the recycling waste is eventually incinerated in the same way as waste that is disposed of as residual waste. At present, thermal disposal of articles made from plant materials is still the most environmentally friendly form of recycling. This means that they are also used to produce energy and reduce the amount of fossil greenhouse gases produced during combustion. Only a portion of the CO2 that the plant has absorbed from the atmosphere during the growth process is released into the atmosphere.

Is bioplastic packaging recyclable?

Yes, bioplastics such as PLA are fully recyclable. A study by the Fraunhofer Institute for Process Engineering and Packaging has shown that they can be separated by type from petroleum-based plastics in the sorting process. Currently, the amounts of bioplastics discarded are still too small to make separating them by type economically viable. According to the Federal Environment Ministry, about 2.6 million tons of conventional plastic packaging are used in Germany each year. By comparison, only about 0.3 - 0.5% of all packaging is made from or using bioplastics. However, if the amount of bioplastics increases in the future, a point will eventually be reached where the separation of conventional plastics will also become more interesting for the disposal and recycling industry. Until then, bioplastics are best used thermally.

Are bioplastics really biodegradable?

Yes, in nature, biological plastics such as polylactic acid (PLA) compost completely in a very short time compared to petroleum-based plastics. In addition to the natural organic basic substances, no toxic residues such as inorganic compounds, chlorine or hydrocarbon compounds remain. In the next paragraph, we explain why we still advise against throwing them into organic waste.

Does compostable packaging belong to organic waste?

The DIN13432 organic icon often appears in our product descriptions. This means that the product is certified compostable and can be broken down into specific residual components in an industrial composting facility within 90 days. However, many composting plants operate on a shorter cycle, sometimes only six weeks. This means that organic waste has only half the time to decompose into components, and the fragments are still too large to be recycled. Given the relatively small amount of fully compostable packaging and disposable tableware, it makes neither ecological nor economic sense to separately sort and deliver to municipal composting facilities. Even if, at first glance, composting seems to be the best method of recycling, as nature returns to nature, it is not the most sensible solution at the moment. This is because composting at an industrial facility also requires energy, and the whole process consumes resources.

For these reasons, we also recommend disposing of this packaging through waste recycling with subsequent thermal disposal.
